Walk-ins are always welcome; however, reservations are highly recommended so you can get the boat best suited to your plans on the water and reserve the time you desire.

All the boats have tops, stereos, and all required Coast Guard Safety equipment. Coolers are available upon request and some locations offer ice for purchase. We also go over a chart of the local waterways with you before you leave the docks and point out area highlights that you may want to explore. Each boat comes with a Garmin GPS and a depth finder.

Our only requirement is that boats remain inshore along the Intracoastal Waterway and other clearly marked channels. You are welcome to travel away from the dock, but please keep return time in mind. Our boats are not permitted to operate offshore, and there are designated points at each inlet that you may not cross. Our team will highlight local sandbars, islands, and restaurants for you to visit.

All you need to rent a boat is a driver’s license, a major credit card, adequate previous boating experience and be at least 21 years of age. If you were born in or after 1988, you must have a boat license or Safe Boating Card.

If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, Florida law requires you to have a boating license to operate a powered vessel. You can take a quick, easy online test. The test takes approximately 30 minutes and is valid for 90 days in Florida only. The cost is $14.

Yes, all renters must have prior boating experience to operate the vessel safely and responsibly during the rental period.

A qualified operator must have safely and consistently operated a boat of similar length and power on tidal and navigable waters (excluding lakes) for at least the past two years. They should have thorough knowledge and experience in navigation and boat operation. If a customer arrives without proof of their qualifications, they will receive a refund.

We would be happy to recommend one of the many local charter captains who can take you out on a boat. Certain locations may offer charters on-site for $50 per hour. You can also opt to rent a boat with a captain. For more information, click here.

No, a deposit is not required to rent any piece of equipment.

You will have the opportunity to add insurance upon your arrival. Our team will explain the basic, standard, and comprehensive policies available for you to choose from. If you decide not to purchase coverage, please be aware that you will be responsible for any damages. While we highly recommend having insurance, you may decline it if you wish.

Fuel is not included with your rental. We provide a full tank of fuel when you rent, and you'll be charged for the fuel you use upon return. Please note that fuel prices vary by location and are set by the marina.

Locations may close when sustained winds exceed 18 mph or when thunderstorms are in the area. Reservations that were originally scheduled during a closure can be either rebooked or refunded. Additionally, a 30-minute waiting period is required after each lightning strike.

We understand that plans can change. If you are unable to rent the boat on the day and time you reserved it, please inform us at least 12 hours in advance to qualify for a refund. No-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded. If bad weather prevents you from attending, we will gladly refund your payment or help you reschedule for a more suitable day.
